Project Manager – Ireland

A fully remote role for a Project Manager who's based in Ireland.

Role Description

Responsible for overseeing projects, tracking work to be completed, working to deadlines, and identifying any potential risks. Responsible for completing the project work in line with the plan and will often report progress to senior managers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the overall project schedule, working closely with design, site production and operations departments to ensure smooth planning and running times.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and management in relation to the works, approvals, and payment claims.
  • Manage weekly meetings with key project stakeholders and company teams, with attention to snagging, timeframes and cost tracking.
  • Ensure the contract plans are adhered to as per any agreement.
  • Assist the accounts departments, ensuring that final installation is signed off and ready for final payment.

Additional Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work effectively to the agreed standards required by Lignum Group.
  • Adhere to Lignum Group’s rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Engage with and participate in the PDP and review process.
  • Seek clarification about expectations, behaviours, and rules from the manager if you are unsure.
  • Communicate effectively with management.
  • Keep up to date with industry affairs.

Relevant Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in architectural glazing and/ or within the external façade industry as project manager, coordinator, or contracts manager (mechanical bias preferable, with the understanding of site installation methods).
  • High level of organisation with proven and demonstrable logistics and procurement management experience.
  • Ability to manage key projects stakeholder relationships.
  • Management of site teams and subcontractors, plus the successful recruitment of each.
  • Experience managing several projects simultaneously, ideally ranging from £500K to £4 million. · Experience and ability to track project progress through measured works. · Degree in construction management highly preferable or strong trades background.
  • Capable of site visits and audit forms, with demonstrable experience of previous successes.
  • Various knowledge of Façade – Curtain Walling and Window Install. Cladding not essential but preferred.

Salary

Salary up to €52,000 p.a.
